Sponsor a Positive Pad - reusable sanitary pads with organic and zero waste cotton made by women, to empower women.

Did you know that girls can miss out up to 4 days of education a month because they don't have access to feminine hygiene products?

No one should have to be disadvantaged by their body’s natural cycle. This is why, as champions of female empowerment, we couldn't sit and watch. And you can help us make a difference too.

How it works:

With our charity Mayamiko Trust we make reusable sanitary kits that have been part crafted with zero waste fabric from the Mayamiko workshop, as well as lovely organic cotton for the parts of the pad in direct contact with the body.

This not only gives women a safe and hygienic option during their period but it also helps Mayamiko The Label to achieve our Zero Waste Goals. Each kit is designed to help women live quality days while menstruating and each kit is handcrafted with care. We then partner with organisations like The Unmentionables, We Youth and others to deliver the pads together with feminine hygiene talks.

The images you see are the Mayamiko ladies making the pads, and the recipients at the refugee camps' Dignity Centre in a refugee camp in Greece, the Armurtel centre in Greece, and the There is Hope centre in Malawi.

You can help help make more kits available to more girls by making a donation. It only takes £2.00 to pay for a recyclable pad which can transform a girl's life.

PLEASE NOTE THE PADS WILL NOT BE SHIPPED TO YOU, THEY WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE REFUGEE CAMPS OR PARTNER CHARITIES.
