Our tip: we know its’ hard for you to choose from all these crazy unique prints… First pick your regular size. For a slightly “oversized” look, pick one size up. Then, browse over the range of products corresponding to these two sizes.

Composition

Our Classic Bomber jacket is made with a vintage Indian saree, that has been worn by an Indian woman before, as a cloth wrapped around her body. We source our sarees from all over India, so it’s not possible to know the exact composition of the saree.Our Classic Bomber jacket has a front zipper and two side pockets. The collar, hem, and cuffs are in rib fabric. The jacket has a soft cotton lining.

Who made this Bomber jacket?

All Tildé pieces are the result of a collaboration between Mathilde, the designer in Belgium and the talented Indian team in charge of the production. For each collection, we spend over 3 weeks in Rajasthan with the team, adjusting and fine-tuning the prototypes and patterns that were made in Belgium.

We travel to India regularly to source the most beautiful vintage sarees. Each saree is selected carefully with love and care. We give these discarded beauties a new life by cutting clothes out of them.Please be aware that some of the garments might have irregularities or areas where the color has slightly faded away... this is part of their charm and it ensures you they are truly unique pieces.

About the brand

Brand: Tildé began with a love for Indian sarees prints and with a belief that there’s an alternative to fast fashion. All Tildé's items are the result of a collaboration between the designers in Belgium and a talented Indian team responsible for production.

Fair Trade: For each collection, Tildé spends more than 3 weeks in Rajasthan with the team, adjusting and refining the prototypes and patterns made in Belgium. The clothes are designed in Belgium and produced in India.

Environmentally Friendly: Tildé uses second-hand Sarees and upcycles them into unique and hip crop tops, dresses, blouses, and bomber jackets. The team makes accessories from the leftover material to prevent unnecessary residual material.
