The brand is set up to protect the communities that share their rich, natural resources by giving them an income that comes from a company with a positive, sustainable impact. Elephas Paris sells products from Shea butter, made by women in Africa who hereby become important allies in protecting the Shea forests, the habitat of the largest population of elephants in West Africa. The products are made from the highest quality Shea butter and therefore offer a rich and healthy form of skin care. The products are also free from chemical substances, palm oil and also plastic-free! The women receive a fair wage and in addition 1 kg of cornflakes is donated to a woman from the community for every soap sold and 1 meal is donated to a street child who goes to school through the supported associations. Elephas Paris is the first beauty brand to be Wildlife Friendly® certified by the Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network for the protection of elephant habitats.
