Short description

Iris floral printed linen shirt is an ideal sartorial choice for the summer season. Constructed from a lightweight and breathable linen fabric, it provides optimal comfort and ease during warmer days. The matching fabric button closures at the front lends a sense of cohesive elegance and refinement to the design. The pleat detail at the back not only grants a relaxed fit, but also imbues the shirt with a sense of movement.

Style tip: Pair this shirt with solid colored bottoms such as our Zephyrus tailored trousers to let the shirt be the focal point of the outfit. You can also try layering the shirt over a tank top or camisole and leaving the top button undone for a more casual and effortless look.

Kurinji is a beautiful slow fashion brand that wants to preserve nature, traditions, and culture. They work to revive the dying handcrafts of India that have been practised for centuries and deliver unique, timeless products.

Fair trade: The clothing is ethically made in Italy and Romania, under fair working conditions. They visit the manufacturers often and can ensure good working conditions. For some woollen products, they work together with a small indigenous workshop in India. They also carefully select materials that they know are created in an ethical manner.

Environmentally friendly: Kurinji only works with sustainable, natural materials. They use GOTS certified organic hemp and cotton, ensuring high sustainability standards. As a vegan leather replacement they use Jacron which is made from cellulose and considered quite sustainable. They also use the materials lyocell (made from wood pulp), linen, nettle, and viscose, which are all sourced sustainably. Finally, they use mulesing free wool from India, and peace-silk from India, which is sourced in a cruelty-free way.

Kurinji compensates part of their CO2 pollution with Treedom, and their packaging is FSC certified.

Locally produced: The collection is made in Europe, in Italy and Romania.

Animal welfare: The brand uses cruelty-free silk, and mulesing-free wool.
