Short description

After gathering feedback from our customers, we have perfected our surf suit pattern and Arugam is the result! This is a very comfortable style, especially designed for the active beach gals. Perfect for a water sports-packed weekend or simply to protect you from the sun whilst going for a swim. This swimsuit features long sleeves and a front zip that can be pulled down to reveal a hint of skin.

Designed in New Zealand, handcrafted in Brazil with Amni Eco Soul - CO2 control® the world's first biodegradable polyamide, developed and manufactured in Brazil using reclaimed water. Our printed fabric is GRS certified (Global Recycled Standard) Digitale Eco. One kilo of recycled yarn is equivalent to 60 PET bottles, we used to use Econyl which is a similar recycled fabric however, Econyl is sourced from Italy. Digitale Eco is made in Brazil therefore reducing transport and emissions.

As this fabric is delicate, avoid rough surfaces like rocks & pool edges and be careful wearing jewellery to avoid snagging and catching.

To care for your swimwear, cold hand wash using a delicate liquid wash. Rinse the garment thoroughly in cool or warm water and lay flat to dry in the shade.

Do not dry clean, soak, tumble dry or iron.

AURAI SWIM is an eco ethical swimwear brand created by the Italian-Brazilian designer Natalia Bertolo. The brand is located in Australia, but the swimwear is made in Natalia's hometown in southern Brazil. The items are made there under fair working conditions, for a fair wage during normal working hours.

AURAI only uses environmentally friendly materials for their products. For example, they use ECONYL®, this is nylon made from recycled plastic (especially fishing nets) that has been removed from the sea. AURAI uses AMNI SOUL ECO® for the latest collection, this material is 100% biodegradable. This material only starts to break down if it ends up in a landfill, since it only breaks down in the special conditions of a landfill.

The AURAI items are digitally printed. This saves a lot of water and chemicals. The products are then packaged in reusable terry bags and in boxes made from 100% recycled paper.
