Description
Quality boxer shorts (2-pack) from our new brand Mausons with a slim fit. The boxer has red stitching and is made of the wonderfully soft TENCEL™ Modal material. Modal is a natural and plant-based material made from wood pulp from the beech tree.
The product is shipped in compostable packaging. Everything you see in and around the packaging can go in the green bin (gft bin) or home compost, except for the "growth" card sent along. It contains seeds for bees and butterflies. Plant it wherever you like and grow something beautiful.
Mausons is a men's underwear brand founded by Mauro Wilsons Estevão. In 2011, Mauro became a national symbol for the discussion surrounding the failing asylum policy in the Netherlands. After this black page in his life, he decided he actually wanted to make a positive impact on the world. Mauro also donates 1 euro per product sold to the foundation 'The Forgotten Child'.

Materials & care
- * Material: 100% Tencel Modal from the Austrian manufacturer Lenzing. With a view to the total lifetime of the underpants, the choice was made to use 90.2% recycled polyester and 9.8% elastane for the elastic band. This also applies to the sewing thread (recycled polyester) used to join the micro-modal fabrics together
- * Washing recommendation: 30 degrees, delicate wash (no fabric softener). Do not tumble dry. Ironing is allowed, but not too hot
- * Vegan: yes
Production: sustainable and fairly produced in Portugal
About the brand
Today there are enormous possibilities in the field of high-quality clothing production. Think of softer fabrics, good working conditions and less impact on the environment. Mausons thinks it's time to take advantage of that.
Fair trade: Mausons boxers & T-shirts are produced in Portugal in a beautiful factory that produces fairly and sustainably. They are very transparent, and Mauro, the founder of Mausons, was even allowed to film in the factory. This can be seen on the Youtube channel of Mausons.
Environmentally friendly: Mausons only uses sustainable materials for their underwear. The boxers are made of Tencel Modal, and the elastic band of recycled polyester. Tencel Modal is a material made from wood pulp from beech trees, these trees are in FSC certified sustainable forest management forests in Europe. The wood is processed into a soft fabric in an environmentally friendly way by the Austrian company LENZING.
In addition to using sustainable materials, the factory in Portugal is also very sustainable. They use machines that prevent a lot of water wastage, and they have a roof full of solar panels.
Mausons also uses sustainable biodegradable packaging material made from corn or sugar cane. The packages are delivered to your home by a bicycle courier.
