In our Italian family business for exclusive leather goods, the entire family still works together. We brought the owner Corrado at the beginning of our collaboration for the first time in contact with vegetable tanned leather. Since 2015, he now produces belts and accessories from vegetable tanned leather for us.

We use vegetable tanned leather from Germany and Italy. By not using chemical treatment and finishing of the skins, man and nature are spared. Color differences and irregularities are an unmistakable natural feature of leathers that have been vegetable tanned and give each article a lively uniqueness.

This item is completely CO₂-neutralized. Together with the experts from ClimatePartner, we determine the CO₂ emissions caused during production and offset them by supporting a carbon offset project.

It is a long way from the first idea to the new garment and many people are involved in this creative process. We set ourselves high standards along the entire textile value chain, and we show you where we produce and the people behind our products.

Fair fashion takes time, which is why we produce two collections a year. When designing our slow fashion, we focus on timeless designs and reflected trends. Each of our high quality garments made from sustainable natural materials is made to last.

Lanius is a brand founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius with a clear vision to bring ecological materials and fair working conditions together to create beautiful feminine items. Lanius stands for LOVE FASHION / THINK ORGANIC / BE RESPONSIBLE and you can see that in their clothing.

Fair Trade: Lanius works only with facilities where they can guarantee fair production. They have a close relationship with all of them, and most of their suppliers are GOTS certified. They are very transparent and have a page dedicated to all their suppliers on their website, so you can see who made your clothing.

Environmentally Friendly: The clothes are made from GOTS certified organic cotton grown in an eco-friendly manner, organic and mulesing-free wool and ECONYL ® 100% regenerated nylon yarn made from recycled fishing nets. They also use other sustainable materials and have a page dedicated to all their materials on their website if you want to learn other eco-friendly materials.

Good Cause: On international women’s day Lanius donates 10% of all daily takings to the organization FEMNET.
