W's Ribbed Bikers - Recycled PA

Our ribbed bikers are back in an improved fit! These shorts have a flattering high waistline but without a tight elastic band inside. These shorts stay where they should but don’t dig in or pinch. They feature a double layered fabric for added support and coverage. Combine these shorts with the matching ribbed crop or any of our other items. The fabric used in these shorts is regenerated from plastic waste collected from our oceans and spun into a yarn used to make a like-new fabric from recycled origins.

• The waist piece in these shorts is a snug fit so if you prefer a looser fit, we recommend sizing up.

• You can safely machine wash your activewear at 40°C
• Do not tumble dry – it weakens the stretchy fabric
• Dry in shade to avoid fading
• Wash with similar colours to avoid discolouration
• Watch out for rough surfaces, zippers, bra clasps and buttons

Lilja is a sustainable Finnish swimwear brand. They take inspiration from the nature surrounding them and create ethically and sustainably high-quality swimwear. Lilja aims to be as environmentally conscious and transparent as possible.

Fair Trade: All Lilja’s items are ethically handmade in their factory on the paradise island of Bali in Indonesia. The factory is family-run and employs 36 people. Lilja trusts the factory and visits them to make sure the employees work in a safe and fair environment. 

Environmentally Friendly: Lilja’s swimwear is made using sustainable materials such as ECONYL® regenerated nylon and REPREVE® recycled plastic bottles. The entire shipping package is fully recyclable and plastic-free.

Weekendbee was founded in 2018 by Aissa and Jukka. While they travelled the world and visited the most beautiful nature destinations, they immediately experienced how polluted nature was. Aissa and Jukka are both nature lovers and therefore decided to wear more sustainable sportswear and outdoor clothing. After a lot of searching, they found that there were actually a lot of sustainable options. That's how they came up with the idea to start Weekendbee. With Weekendbee everyone can easily find sustainable sportswear!
