Sweating is good for you, it cools down your body, it releases waste products and it is a sign of good blood circulation. Only smells of sweat… you'd rather not.
Sweat only starts to smell when it comes into contact with bacteria on your skin. Our deodorant contains Alum, which leaves a thin, invisible and odorless layer on your skin. This layer ensures that the pores of the skin contract slightly but are not closed so that waste products can get out. Due to the changed PH value, bacteria that cause the unpleasant odor no longer stand a chance.

Shop Like You Give a Damn is an online vegan & fair department store, started out of the frustration of vegan shopping. The founders of Shop Like You Give a Damn wanted to be able to shop easily, with a wide range of stylish clothing, shoes, bags and cosmetics, of which you know for sure that they are vegan. Still quite tricky, because often you only find out after ordering that there is a leather patch on the jeans, that some wool has been processed in a sweater, or that the glue in the shoes is not vegan (if you ever find out).
Fortunately, there is a wide range of vegan products that are also made fairly and sustainably. These products are only fragmented over the internet in small webshops. Shop Like You Give a Damn brings all these products together in an online department store, where they have researched for you why and in what way a product is sustainable and of course whether it is actually vegan. This makes vegan shopping fun and easy!
