Aimmea is a brand for all ages, and for all fits. This makes Aimmea's clothing timeless, age-less and very comfortable! The brand is by designer Maria Nijhout and is located in Amsterdam. High quality and sustainability are of great importance to Aimmea. They, therefore, do not have seasonal collections but add new items to existing collections.

Fair trade: Aimmea produces fairly in Portugal and in the Netherlands. The two factories in Portugal are small family businesses. They work under pleasant working conditions for a good salary. The clothing that is made in the Netherlands is made by local seamstresses with whom there is frequent contact. This clothing is also made under good working conditions.

Environmentally friendly: The clothing is mainly made of Oekotex certified viscose, so free of toxic chemicals. This material comes from Europe, but is otherwise not certified. Aimmea also works with Ecovero, a more sustainable viscose, made from wood from FSC certified forests. In the future, Aimmea will start using more Ecovero instead of the other viscose they mainly use now.

Aimmea also uses recycled material for the buttons, which are made in Lithuania. Furthermore, they only use polyester for two coats in their collection.

The clothing is shipped in biodegradable shipping bags.

Locally produced: The clothing is made locally in the Netherlands and Portugal and almost all materials come from Europe.
