Brand: Nooboo

Nooboo was founded by Amar de Winter and is all about bamboo. In his search for an alternative to cotton basics, Amar became fascinated by bamboo. The material requires a lot less water compared to cotton and is also less susceptible to diseases. This makes pesticides unnecessary. Bamboo is moisture-regulating, breathable and anti-bacterial. The latter means you have to wash the clothes less often!

Eco-friendly: Nooboo mainly uses bamboo and organic cotton in their products. The brand also uses natural dyes, derived from mango leaves, for example.

Fair production: the bamboo comes from a plantation in Ubud, Bali, which is run by locals. The clothing is made in Portugal and Indonesia.

Good cause: Nooboo has set up its own foundation, with which they plant a bamboo bush for every t-shirt sold.
