The Eco Bags Muun are design and handcrafted by artisan women in small remote villages in Guatemala. Good Neighbors supports these artisans in their production of Ecofriendly textiles. Mum means tenderness in Mayan language.

The Macrame Net bags are handcrafted door skillful Mayan weavers members of the group Muun in New Mexico, Guatemala. They are waved with 100% natural unbleached cotton using the macramé technique.
Vegan Leather Pouch:
The Vegan leather pouch and handlers are handmade by members of the Guatemalan organization Wave. Wave, supports underprivileged young people that had been deprived of education. They train them in technical occupations and help them to obtain dignifying jobs.
By purchasing this Fair-Trade product, you support women artisans en underprivileged young people and their families in remote areas in Guatemala.

The goal of Quetzal Artisan is to stimulate fair trade and to give real craftsmanship a stage. Quetzal Artisan has different collections that all try to make the world a bit better in their own way.
Fair Trade: The wool collection is designed and woven by women in Canada and the Guatemalan textile collection is made by skilled women from Guatemala. The Guatemalan women make beautiful designs that combine traditional and modern and they get paid fair wages for their work, which ensures that they can support their children.
Environmentally Friendly: For the wool collection Quetzal Artisan uses materials such as bamboo, alpaca wool, and organic cotton, which are spun in the Andes mountains of South America. For the Guatemalan collection, they only use natural materials such as cotton and viscose, and they paint by hand using natural paint products such as tree bark and flowers.
