A New Universe / Un Nuevo Universo by Angelica Tcherassi
This collaboration with Momoc has really excited me, as it is my first pair of shoes as Angelica Tcherassi. And what could be better than doing that with a brand with which I share many values.
In "A New Universe" I wanted to capture the essence and energy that characterize me as an abstract artist and designer. With them I try to summon and transport their owner to a magical world full of light, color and love through abstract shapes. In this pair I have included many TA symbols such as: the scarab (to represent resilience and transformation in life), the double 8 (my seal, representing abundance and inner strength) the thunderbolt (the light we all love from inside), the lips, hearts and the poppy (to remind us that all we need is love), a pyrite stone (to attract luck and money) and finally the stars, the faces, the eyes and the galaxy the same NOT to forget that " we are all one" and that we are connected more than we can imagine. It is a piece that will remind us of all the power we have, the power that sustains us and the beauty of knowing how to dream.

Shop Like You Give a Damn is an online vegan & fair department store, started out of the frustration of vegan shopping. The founders of Shop Like You Give a Damn wanted to be able to shop easily, with a wide range of stylish clothing, shoes, bags and cosmetics, of which you know for sure that they are vegan. Still quite tricky, because often you only find out after ordering that there is a leather patch on the jeans, that some wool has been processed in a sweater, or that the glue in the shoes is not vegan (if you ever find out).
Fortunately, there is a wide range of vegan products that are also made fairly and sustainably. These products are only fragmented over the internet in small webshops. Shop Like You Give a Damn brings all these products together in an online department store, where they have researched for you why and in what way a product is sustainable and of course whether it is actually vegan. This makes vegan shopping fun and easy!
