They have a double moosehide leather sole and a foam padded insole for added comfort. The durable soft moosehide provides your feet with confort and warmth.

These authentic women moccasins are handmade from genuine moose hide leather by the Huron-Wendat First Nation of Quebec, Canada. Every shoe is made with pride using traditional ancient crafting techniques and with utmost respect for mother earth.

Brand: Quetzal Artisan is a brand that brings handmade and hand-woven products from North, Central and South America to Europe. The goal of Quetzal Artisan is to stimulate fair trade and to give real craftsmanship a stage. Fair Trade: The wool collection is designed and woven by women in Canada and the Guatemalan textile collection is made by skilled women from Guatemala. The Guatemalan women make beautiful designs that combine traditional and modern and they get paid fair wages for their work, which ensures that they can support their children. 

Environmentally Friendly: For the wool collection Quetzal Artisan uses materials such as bamboo, alpaca wool, and organic cotton, which are spun in the Andes mountains of South America. For the Guatemalan collection, they only use natural materials such as cotton and viscose, and they paint by hand using natural paint products such as tree bark and flowers.
