A slip-on loafer in versatile vegan suede — unlined, effortless, and exceptionally comfortable with a soft unlined vegan suede interior, flexible cream EVA outsoles, and 1cm deep removable EVA memory foam insoles.

We haven't made a loafer constructed like this before. It took several attempts to get them right. The traditional way to make this style is with no lining — and that's what we wanted — but it only works if the upper material is substantial enough to stand alone. After a lot of testing we found a new vegan suede thick enough to make it happen. No stiffeners. No extra layers. Just one piece of soft vegan suede, shaped into a loafer.

Your feet rest directly on the thick vegan suede and sit on 1cm deep removable EVA memory foam insoles. They are like walking on clouds. Wear them with or without socks — with nothing between you and the vegan suede, they help keep your feet cool and dry through long hot spring and summer days. The flexible EVA outsoles move with your foot in a similar way to what you would find on a pair of trainers, with a grippy tread that works across most surfaces.

The colour is a soft warm neutral — a colour that doesn't fight with anything. Loose linen trousers on a warm evening. Cargo shorts on a Saturday. Swim shorts coming back from the beach. Tailored chinos. Rolled denim. It sits comfortably with casual as well as more formal combinations.

Will's Vegan Store launched in 2012 as a vegan shoe company. Since then, they've moved into fashion and other products as well.

The brand continuously reflects on it's operations to see where they can do better. 

Eco-friendly: The majority of items are made from vegan leather alternatives. Some are still plastic-based (PU/PE), but since 2017 they've introduced more biobased and recycled materials into their vegan leather. They have created a sneaker that's fully biodegradable and are certified carbon neutral.

Extra cool is that they have a take back scheme, where you can send back your old shoes to be recycled into outsoles for new Will Vegan's Shoes.

Vegan: As the name suggest, Will's is a completely vegan brand. It's PETA-approved.

Fair & local production: Will's Vegan produces in factories in Portugal and Italy, of which some are part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
