Short description

Music and sports have a special bond. The ring walk of a boxing match, the anthem of a winning soccer team, or the in-ear beat during a late-night run. Music brings emotion and motivation, which gets you into a mind space that nurtures optimal performance.

To honor the unique combination of music and sports, we have made this t-shirt with Rotterdam-based audio brand Repeat. This t-shirt embodies both of our commitments to sustainable materials and circularity. Using our unique plant-based fabric and the slogan of Repeat made into a custom print.

This unisex t-shirt is made from a comfortable mix of wood and organic cotton, with a relaxed fit. The custom print is full-sized on the upper back and the minimalistic Iron Roots text logo is put on the middle of the chest.

This t-shirt is made from 50% TENCEL™ Modal and 50% organic cotton, which has been processed into a custom single jersey fabric.

All of our products are made with materials from natural origin, which don’t need as harsh cleaning treatments as other, synthetic sportswear. We suggest the following care instructions for all of our products, to ensure that they will keep their performance and last longer.

▪ Wash at 30 degrees.
▪ Don’t tumble dry.
▪ Don’t use bleach.
▪ Iron with medium heat.
▪ Wash with the same colors.
▪ Fabrics from natural origin can shrink a little bit after washing them, which we have taken into account with our sizing.

Iron Roots is a sportswear brand started by three friends who were annoyed by the large amount of plastic used in the production of sportswear. They couldn't find an alternative on the market and decided that they had to take matters into their own hands. Iron Roots makes sustainable, plastic-free sportswear, made under fair working conditions.

Fair production: All the products from Iron Roots are produced under fair working conditions in Europe. They produce in Portugal and in Greece, in factories that are GOTS certified, ensuring fair and environmentally-friendly production. Their materials come from Turkey, Austria, and Lithuania, where good working conditions are also ensured.

Environmentally friendly: Iron Roots uses hemp from Turkey, which is a sustainable material that grows fast and doesn't need much water. They also use Tencel lyocell and modal from the company LENZING (in Austria), which is made from wood pulp from sustainably managed forests in Europe. Finally, they use GOTS certified organic cotton from Lithuania. Iron Roosts is a completely plastic-free brand. Their packaging is paper-based.

Locally produced:  Iron Roots produced completely in Europe and also sources their materials from Europe.

Vegan: The products from Iron Roots are completely vegan.

Good cause: 20% of the yield of the Sea Shepherd collection is donated to Sea Shepherd to help protect the oceans.
