Short description

Originally launched in 2015, we ran these popular Derbys for a few years until we had to stop making them due to a sourcing complication. Now reintroduced with a few updates and refinements along the way.

They’re the perfect crossover shoe standing in between smart & casual with three playful colour combos on a classic derby silhouette.

  • The slim, grippy and durable outsoles are made from TR with recycled content. They’re practical and flexible to walk on, making these a great shoe to wear day and night out and about.
  • The uppers are created with Italian vegan leather made with 69% biobased content.
  • There are two types of vegan suede lining the inside. This helps air circulate helping to keep your feet cool and provides another layer of comfort for your feet.
  • The backs are cushioned and lined with vegan suede to help with fit and ankle comfort.
  • They have stitching details throughout, colour matched eyelets and light wood effect heels made from compressed cardboard.
  • Deep and squishy recycled insoles.
  • Strong laces made from recycled polyester with metal lace tips.
  • Finished with a WVS emboss on the tongue and outsole.

Will's Vegan Store launched in 2012 as a vegan shoe company. Since then, they've moved into fashion and other products as well.

The brand continuously reflects on it's operations to see where they can do better. 

Eco-friendly: The majority of items are made from vegan leather alternatives. Some are still plastic-based (PU/PE), but since 2017 they've introduced more biobased and recycled materials into their vegan leather. They have created a sneaker that's fully biodegradable and are certified carbon neutral.

Extra cool is that they have a take back scheme, where you can send back your old shoes to be recycled into outsoles for new Will Vegan's Shoes.

Vegan: As the name suggest, Will's is a completely vegan brand. It's PETA-approved.

Fair & local production: Will's Vegan produces in factories in Portugal and Italy, of which some are part of the Fair Wear Foundation.

Shop Like You Give a Damn is an online vegan & fair department store, started out of the frustration of vegan shopping. The founders of Shop Like You Give a Damn wanted to be able to shop easily, with a wide range of stylish clothing, shoes, bags and cosmetics, of which you know for sure that they are vegan. Still quite tricky, because often you only find out after ordering that there is a leather patch on the jeans, that some wool has been processed in a sweater, or that the glue in the shoes is not vegan (if you ever find out).

Fortunately, there is a wide range of vegan products that are also made fairly and sustainably. These products are only fragmented over the internet in small webshops. Shop Like You Give a Damn brings all these products together in an online department store, where they have researched for you why and in what way a product is sustainable and of course whether it is actually vegan. This makes vegan shopping fun and easy!
