Beebalm - Biologische Balsem

Een (lippen)balsem van 100% biologische en natuurlijke ingrediënten, die tegelijkertijd lokaal geproduceerd werd en niet onbelangrijk: een bijdrage aan het redden van de bij! De balsem is helemaal natuurlijk, zit bomvol verzorgende eigenschappen voor de huid en lippen, is absoluut dierproefvrij en de verpakking is biologisch afbreekbaar.

Het welzijn van milieu en dier staat centraal, daarom wordt dit product niet op dieren getest. In tegenstelling zelfs, want met de aankoop van een Beebalm product draag je bij aan het zaaien van bijenoases, om ons de bij te helpen in zijn strijd tegen uitsterven. Daarnaast is het product met liefde lokaal geproduceerd en verpakt door mensen met een zichtbare of onzichtbare arbeidsbeperking in het atelier van ONS Label in Breda. Hierdoor zijn we verzekerd van goede werkomstandigheden, vakmanschap, eerlijke lonen en verlagen we onze CO₂ uitstoot aanzienlijk. Beebalm is gemaakt van 100% biologische bijenwas en zit bomvol positieve eigenschappen voor de huid en lippen. Zo werkt het ontstekingsremmend en helpt het dus wondjes (sneller) te genezen. De balsem werkt beschermend doordat er een barrière gevormd wordt tussen de huid en invloeden van buiten af. Dit zonder de poriën te verstoppen. Daarnaast bevat de balsem een hoog percentage vitamine A wat als werking heeft de celreconstructie van de huid te ondersteunen. De balsem is vrij van sulfaat, parabenen, synthetische geurstoffen, kleurstoffen en palmolie.

Het potje zelf is gemaakt van bioplastic. Dit is 100% plantaardig en dus een duurzame manier van verpakken. Alle potjes worden volledig biologisch afgebroken en laten geen microplastics achter. Het premium materiaal is gemaakt van hout en natuurlijke biopolymeren. De verpakking is veilig voor jou en het milieu!

Fair trade: Some are made in their own workshop and the other half of the products are made in a social workshop, which is supported by the DOEN foundation. These workshops help people with a distance to the labour market come into contact with paid work again: people after a long illness, or people who don't speak Dutch well yet. These people trained in language and other skills.

Environmentally friendly: The materials come from Europe and are certified according to the Global Recycled Standard. They are mainly purchased from 2 permanent partners in Italy and Spain. These locations are visited by MADE out of once a year. They closely monitor the composition of the materials and the origin of the raw materials and whether this is communicated transparently. This can be very difficult to trace sometimes, but on the basis of test reports and certificates and many conversations with the productions, the composition is 90% in view. The following materials are used:

1. 100% recycled FCS paper (produced CO2 neutral).
2. Recycled leather, made from milled remnant leather pieces mixed with natural binders. The coloured items have a very thin PU layer (on a water basis).
3. Cutting waste from awning productions (recycling).
4. Used inflatables (upcycling).
5. Cotton made from 50% or 60% recycled cotton and the rest is cotton.
6. Felt made of 100% post-consumer PET material.
7. Fruit leather - innovative material from mango (waste). This material still has a synthetic backing.

The packages are sent plastic-free via Post-NL green.

Local production: The products are produced in the Netherlands and the materials come from Europe.

Good cause: The products are made in social workshops that are supported by the DOEN foundation. In addition, MADE out of plants trees in their own local forest in the Hoeksche Waard!
