They started their business with the question ‘Can one person make a difference?’ and their answer was ‘Yes!’. Now they want to show the power of one in the sustainable fashion industry. They want to empower each and every individual to take action to help the planet. Aqua & Rock has built some great relationships with sustainable suppliers and uses waste cotton that has been saved from landfills, as well as recycled plastic bottles for their amazing items. The dresses are made from Aqua Triblend, a recovered high-density-polyethylene found from ocean plastic and textile waste. Moreover, the brand uses several other natural materials sourced in Italy, Spain and Portugal, like linen, and they use wool from certified UK farms. Vegetable ink is used for the printing processes and the packaging is made from recycled material.
