Brand: Lamya

Studio Lamya is a collaboration between Silviya Stankova & Katya Encheva. The two met in high school and have been friends for over 17 years. Both women have been working in the fashion industry for a long time, but felt the need to start producing in a different way - a sustainable way. That's how Lamya was born.

Fair trade: The items of Studio Lamya are made in their own studio in Sofia, Bulgaria. The materials come locally from Bulgaria, from the Netherlands, Turkey or through a project in India that supports local artisans. Lamya believes it is important that the materials have a fair origin.

Environmentally friendly: The items are made of 100% natural materials such as organic cotton, linen and the innovative EcoVero. Lamya has decided not to use plastic in its clothing or packaging. They do their best to source locally as much as possible and work on a made-to-order basis.

Locally produced: The items are made locally in Bulgaria, within Europe. Many of the materials are also locally sourced.

Vegan: Lamya strives to have 100% vegan products, but the reason not all items are labelled vegan is that recycled glue has been used in the production of which they cannot guarantee that it is 100% free from animal substances. The label is very conscious of the material they use.

Good cause: Studio Lamya supports a local organization that is involved in planting trees.
