Waves Flip Flops makes slippers from 100% natural rubber in Galle, Sri Lanka. This rubber is Fair Rubber certified which means that it is obtained under fair working conditions. This rubber is then transformed into fine slippers in a local workshop where people also work under fair conditions. The slippers are completely plastic-free and vegan, there are no substances of it even in the paint. Waves is working on getting a certificate for this. The brand contributes to the "Waves" project, a beach clean-up project in Sri Lanka.
