Zakkia's products are designed by Deborah Mott & Sara Lundgren and follow a sleek and minimalist Scandinavian design philosophy. All products are made for multiple uses and are carefully handcrafted from high quality raw materials. Your ZAKKIA piece is like no other, each product is unique and shows the traces of its journey. Zakkia sees these differences as something special to enjoy and love over time!

Ethically produced: Zakkia works with small family businesses in Vietnam and India to make the products. The kitchenware is produced by hand in North Vietnam in a small ceramic village where the partners have been making household items for over 900 years and their skills are passed on from generation to generation. One of the partners in Northern Vietnam extracts clay from the backyards of several family members, depending on the type of finish they are working on. Each product is therefore truly unique! Glass and brass are all handmade in family artisan studios in India, the relationships with the Indian partners are based on trust and honesty. Zakkia supports them to ensure that social responsibility is achieved in their workplace.

Supporting the local community: Zakkia regularly visits the partners in both India and Vietnam on both business and social level, being both friends and colleagues.
