Ein Sneaker, für den keine natürlichen Rohstoffe geerntet werden müssen und der vollständig aus recycelten Materialien gefertigt ist. Mit den Komrads APL hinterlassen Sie sofort einen grünen Fußabdruck!
Offiziell PETA-zertifiziert. Entworfen in Belgien und mit größter Sorgfalt in Portugal produziert (EU).
- Oberseite: gefertigt aus veganem Apfelleder. Apfelleder wird aus Apfelabfällen (Schalen und Kerngehäuse, die in der italienischen Apfelindustrie anfallen) gefertigt. Eine ökologische und vegane Alternative zu Tierleder, aber mindestens genauso gut! Die Zusammensetzung des Apfelleders enthält: 55 % Apfelabfälle, 40 % Kunstharz, 5 % PU für extra robustes Material.
- Sohle: 100 % recyceltes Gummi.
- Futter & Schnürsenkel: recycelte Baumwolle & Plastikflaschen.
- Herausnehmbare Innensohle: gefertigt aus flexiblem, recyceltem Kohlenstoff. Kohlenstoff ist ein pflanzliches Material, das absorbierende Eigenschaften besitzt.

About the brand
Komrads is a sneaker brand that is consciously engaged in sustainable and fair production. The trainers are produced in Portugal and the materials come from Italy and Portugal. They visit the workshops twice a year and have close contact with the contact person in Portugal, who keeps them well informed about the business and the possibilities. The shoe is made from the residue of the apple juice industry, the final product is called apple leather. This is a fairly new process in which constant innovative research leads to improvement of the product. The other materials are recycled rubber (sole), recycled plastic (laces) and recycled cotton (laces, lining). The trainers are 100% vegan!
