Kora Mikino's vision is a climate-neutral future that is free of the taboo around hygiene products and bodily fluids. They want an emancipated, fair and sustainable flow for everyone. They have already started with their Period Pledge, by fighting for worldwide access to menstrual products without polluting the environment or creating dependencies.

Ethically and locally produced: Kora Mikino produces their Panties in a partnership with a textile manufacturer in the Swabian Alb. Depending on quantity and model, the products are manufactured directly on site in Albstadt, or at locations in other European countries. This textile manufactory has almost 100 years of experience in the lingerie segment. The company is OekoTex certified and has been awarded the seal 'Assured Sustainability' by the German Institute for Sustainability and Economy.

Eco-friendly: the items are made from MicroModal® from Lenzing in Austria and recycled lace. MicroModal® is 100% natural, super soft and has a very high moisture absorbing capacity. The beech wood that is used comes from sustainable beech tree nurseries. Please note that a chemical process is required to turn the beech wood fibers into a soft textile. The production of this material takes place within Europe and here the chemicals are carefully treated, collected and where possible recycled. Water- and energy-saving techniques are also used. MicroModal® has the EU Ecolabel.

Vegan: Kora's period underwear is vegan and cruelty free. They produce their panties in a respectful harmony with people, animals and nature and are convinced that no animal ingredients are required to manufacture our products. The panties are therefore vegan and certified by PETA with the official seal 'vegan approved'. 

thegreenlabels.com is a store that, as the name suggests, only sells clothing from green clothing brands. At thegreenlabels.com they try to make it as easy as possible to find beautiful honest and sustainable brands. In this way they try to encourage people to buy more sustainable and fairer products and thereby also change the fashion industry. That is 100% in line with the Project Cece philosophy!

All thegreenlabels.com garments are produced fairly. In addition, they meet at least one of the following criteria:

- Vegan: No animal materials
- Local: Made in Europe
- Clean processes: If environmentally friendly materials are used, or if water or CO2 reduction is used, etc.
- Waste reduction: If production is circular or at least waste production is stopped as much as possible.
