Golden brown scarf, wool with silk, natural colours

Large scarf in warm golden brown tones. The layering in yellow-gold-brown tones is because the scarf consists of 2 parts. For extra warmth on cold days!

It is in fact 2 scarves: a smaller one and a larger one that are woven together in the middle. You can wear it double or wrap the parts around each other 'loose' for extra volume. The 'outer scarf' is 200 cm long, the 'inner scarf' is 145 m long. The width is 50 cm.

The scarf is made of manually spun and woven silk and wool. Weaver clusters of women in mountain villages in the Himalayas earn an independent income by weaving the scarves. The women work for an organization and a community of local residents in a remote region in the Himalayas.
