Nat-2 Hayfield | Grass sneakers made from the Bavarian meadows
- Upper: Hay, grass and flowers, reflective glass and recycled PET bottles

The sneaker's uppers are made from real sustainable recycled hay, grass and flowers which cover up to 50% of the shoe's surface, depending on each style. The hayfield is pressed and applied to a layerbase and got the natural mountain scent. The feel is very unique and natural, while you can smell the alpine hayfield and see the material's natural texture. The patented material and the final sneakers are handmade in Italy and produced under fair conditions in a new family-run high-tech facility. All shoes are equipped with a soft padded, anti-bacterial real cork insole. The glue is free from animal ingredients, the outsoles are made from real rubber. The top has reflective glass details. The material that looks like suede or nappa leather is made from recycled PET bottles.

Fair trade: The shoes are produced fairly by a small producer in Italy and the wellies are produced in Italy or elsewhere in the EU, depending on where they have time. The shoes are produced under fair working conditions.
Environmentally friendly: nat-2 only uses sustainable materials. They use certified wood, stone, hay, natural rubber, vegetable-tanned leather, grass, recycled materials such as corn, coffee, milk, PET bottles, glass, wine corks, leather remnants, eco-cotton, pineapple, etc.
Locally produced: Production in the EU.
Vegan: nat-2 also has a vegan collection that is 100% vegan and the glue does not contain any animal products.

Shop Like You Give a Damn is an online vegan & fair department store, started out of the frustration of vegan shopping. The founders of Shop Like You Give a Damn wanted to be able to shop easily, with a wide range of stylish clothing, shoes, bags and cosmetics, of which you know for sure that they are vegan. Still quite tricky, because often you only find out after ordering that there is a leather patch on the jeans, that some wool has been processed in a sweater, or that the glue in the shoes is not vegan (if you ever find out).
Fortunately, there is a wide range of vegan products that are also made fairly and sustainably. These products are only fragmented over the internet in small webshops. Shop Like You Give a Damn brings all these products together in an online department store, where they have researched for you why and in what way a product is sustainable and of course whether it is actually vegan.
