This hand knitted sweater is made out of undyed ecological alpaca yarn. Alpaca yarns is very nice to wear, even for those of you who don’t like sheep wool. This wool is very agreeable!
Without one sewn seam, this sweater is knitted in one piece with sustainable yarns! Knitting is just something I really like to do!

It is possible that the wool is a little fluffy. I suggest to pull the “fluffyballs’ by hand from the sweater. If you use a lint roller you only damage the yarn.
Because this is a handmade product, made from a natural resource, it is only natural that it will probably contain it’s imperfections. But who is perfect?
Combine this classic with a bright colour or not! Is a sweater with endless possibilities!
The handknitted sweater has a loose, slightly oversized fit. The sweater has a turtleneck and is slightly cropped. Wear it with a high waisted pari of pants or a skirt is my tip. Because it’s made out of one piece you don’t have (thick) seams.The sleeves fit loose too. In my opinion this is a real nice sweater, made from beautiful sustainable naturally shimmering alpaca yarn. That the colours are dyed plant based is a plus!

Because this sweater is made by hand (or still has to be made) the delivery time for this sweater will take approximately 10 working days (in the Netherlands). Shipping to a European country will take a few days extra. If I have a finished sweater I will, of course, sent it right away!Knitting one sweater take it’s time, but it’s made by hand!

ZWAAN is the label of Dutch designer Lara Zwaan. She makes cool and comfortable designs that are meant for every day wear. With ZWAAN you’ll find all-time classics with a twist, made with sustainable material in an ethical and very local way.
Fair trade: All the clothing from ZWAAN is made by Lara herself. She designs the clothes, makes the patterns, sews the clothes together and converts them to different sizes. She can therefore assure you that the clothing is made completely fair trade.
Environmentally friendly: The clothing that Lara makes is Made-to-order. Therefore, she never makes to much, you can the clothing made to exactly your size, and she is never stuck with overstock. The materials that Lara uses is a combination of GOTS certified materials that she purchases. This is organic materials which is produced under fair and sustainable conditions. She also makes clothing from leftovers, which she sometimes finds and sometimes receives as a gift to make something beautiful. She then makes beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces from these leftovers.
Local: All the clothing from ZWAAN is made locally in the Netherlands.
