Brand: Adornpay Jewellery

AdornPay started as the student project of Virgilia de Graaff and Anouk Rademaker. They had to draw up a business plan and pitch it to a fictitious investor. The idea they presented was AdornPay: a jewellery label that makes wearables. This is a piece of jewellery or key ring with an NFC chip in it so that you can always pay contactless, even without a debit card or smartphone. AdornPay has a wearable collection and a collection of regular jewellery, both are fully sustainable.

Fair trade: The jewellery is produced by Ana Dyla, a sustainable jewellery brand that can also be found at Project Cece. The jewellery is produced fairly in Turkey, in small workshops in Anatolia. Hatice, Ana Dyla's owner, visits the studios 4 to 8 times a year. The working conditions are good and the employees receive a fair wage. Ana Dyla is B Corp certified with a score of 89.7, which means that the production meets high ethical standards.

Environmentally Friendly: AdornPay uses recycled gold and silver. Their gems come from Turkish soil. They also use naturally tanned leather, free of lead and dangerous chemicals.

Locally produced: Production takes place in Turkey and that is where the materials come from.
