Short description
Deze basic shirts maak ik van heerlijk GOTS gecertificeerd biologisch katoen. De shirts hebben een vrij hoog aansluitende ronde hals die van een boorstofje voorzien is. En ook dit stofje is geheel van GOTS gecertificeerd biologisch katoen.
Ik werk de mouwen af indien ik de zoom twee keer om sla en deze met twee hand-genaaide steekjes vastzet. Zo lijkt het alsof de mouw wat ‘nonchalant’ is opgerold.

De streep schortenbont is gemaakt van katoen en wordt in Duitsland geweven. Van dit schortenbont werden vroeger de ‘schorten’ van de Zeeuwse boerinnen gemaakt. De stof staat daarom ook bekend als lekker stevig, en kan veel hebben. Hoewel er nauwelijks nog klederdracht echt gedragen wordt, wilde ik dit graag in een modernere variant terug brengen naar iets alledaags, moois, tijdloos en vooral iets wat alle leeftijden aanspreekt.

WIT- met zwarte streep: Vincent is 193cm en draagt maat S
WIT- met blauwe streep: Alexander is 187cm en draagt maat M, dit shirt is een limited edition, omdat het schortenbont een cadeau aan mij was. Dit waren ooit keukengordijnen op een Zeeuwse boerderij. De donkerblauwe kleur wordt niet meer gemaakt, en is dus echt uniek. De zoom afgewerkt met een tweelingnaad steek.

Environmentally friendly: The clothing that Lara makes is Made-to-order. Therefore, she never makes to much, you can the clothing made to exactly your size, and she is never stuck with overstock. The materials that Lara uses is a combination of GOTS certified materials that she purchases. This is organic materials which is produced under fair and sustainable conditions. She also makes clothing from leftovers, which she sometimes finds and sometimes receives as a gift to make something beautiful. She then makes beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces from these leftovers.
