Material

We use premium Italian fabric made with the ECONYL® regenerated yarn. The ECONYL® regeneration system rescues waste like fishing nets and other post-consumer waste that is recycled back to premium-grade ECONYL® regenerated nylon.

Care Instructions
  • Rinse immediately after use. High amounts of chlorine will damage your swimwear.
  • Best for your swimwear: hand-wash in cold water and line dry in the shade. If needed, use a mild detergent.
  • When machine washing, do not wash it warmer than 30 degrees Celsius. We recommend using the GUPPYFRIEND bag to avoid microplastic contamination.
  • Do not tumble dry, iron, wring, soak, or bleach.
  • Avoid contact with rough surfaces as this may cause pulling to your swimwear.
  • This way, your Woodlike Bikini will stay beautiful and elastic for many years!

This brings together the two most important aspects of their brand identity. The ocean and you, a modern woman who consciously deals with the environment and enjoys all its facets.

Fair trade: It is crucial to Woodlike Ocean that their production partners have the same ethical values ​​as they do. That is why all clothing is fairly produced in Istanbul, Turkey. The factory where the swimwear is made is regularly checked via SEDEX, these are self-auditing, but also checks by a third independent party. The employees receive a fair wage, free lunch, and a lot of opportunities for further development.

Environmentally friendly: Woodlike ocean makes all their swimwear from Econyl, which is nylon made from recycled fishing nets and other plastics that are fished from the ocean.
